The client was faced with significant spend and inconsistencies due to manual performance of controls assessments.
Our personnel worked with key client stakeholders to understand the assessment processes in question and identify key areas of potential improvement where process redesign, technology enablement, and GRC tooling adoption could be leveraged to drive consistency across several distinct constituencies. A controls assessment processes was developed and technology implemented for key candidate controls to selectively automate the assessment and remediation processes and allow year over year improvement of control maturity to be tracked.
The client was able to leverage automation to drive a consistent approach to assessment of key controls and allow far more consistent reporting of control effectiveness while reducing resource spend.
